Job description

Title: Data Center Facilities Technician

Location: Zebulon, NC

Onsite/Remote: 100% Onsite

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm to 12am

Duration: 8 months

Role Responsibilities

• Receiving equipment deliveries
• Configuring server cabinets
• Racking and cabling of devices
• Cable testing
• Troubleshooting hardware and cabling issues
• Maintaining inventory and interface documentation

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences

• Data Center experience
• Operating and installing computing equipment related to infrastructure and applications, including servers, storage, network, and telecom
• Familiarity with infrastructure cabling concepts
• Troubleshooting network issues
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Assisting with shipping, receiving, and distribution of equipment and hardware
