Burton Plumbing, part of Clarion Home Services Group, is hiring a Residential Service Journeyman Plumber in Omaha, NE. This on-site and field-based role offers a full-time schedule with weekly hours fluctuating to meet demand.

Travel is daily to local job sites, with potential overtime based on workload.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumbing License is required.
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate plumbing systems and provide homeowners with a Good/Better/Best range of solutions for repairs and long-term health of the system.
• Explain technical issues to customers and demonstrate value of preventative maintenance and high-efficiency upgrades (tankless water heaters, water filtration).
• Present options and pricing on-site, converting service calls into comprehensive solutions while maintaining high closing ratios.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements or cross-departmental needs (HVAC, Electrical) and refer customers to internal experts for whole-home comfort.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems with precision, ensuring compliance with local codes and exceeding customer expectations.
• Respond to emergencies, make professional recommendations, and perform required repairs to restore homeowner peace of mind.
• Utilize mobile technology to submit documentation, photos, and signed work orders for every job.

Work Location: Omaha, NE and surrounding area

Work Arrangement: On-Site and field-based

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday; daily hours vary based on active business demands. This is a variable full-time role up to 40 hours per week, with weekly hours fluctuating alongside seasonal business needs and project volume. To meet shifting operational deadlines, occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required.

Travel: Daily travel to residential/commercial job sites throughout the local branch’s service region.

What You'll Do:

What You Bring:

• Experience:Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety hazards. Expert ability to troubleshoot drain/plumbing issues; knowledge of video inspection, line locating, and hydro-jetting.
• Communication: Ability to communicate technical jargon in a way that builds trust and guides homeowners toward the best investment for their home.
• Licensing:Journeyman Plumbing License(Required).
• Integrity:High integrity with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods throughout the day.
• The job requires regularly lifting and carrying heavy items, which can weigh up to 50 pounds or more.
• Must be comfortable and able to safely climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, or bucket trucks at various heights.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and balance in awkward positions.
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and is not limited by weather conditions. May work in extreme temperatures, including heat, cold and humidity.

Compensation:

• Base Pay Range: $80,000-100,000/per year
• Range Basis: Within this range, an individual's starting pay is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, qualifications, professional experience, and internal equity across our organization.
