About the Role: As a Residential Service Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch electrical services to our residential clients, ensuring their homes are safe, functional, and efficient !!!

Up to $2500 sign on bonuses for well qualified techs!!

About Us: Paradise Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical is a full-service company with emphasis on the personal service we provide to our customers, for over 35 years. We take pride in doing professional work at reasonable rates. We are located in the Ft. Lauderdale area, and we service calls to most cities, from West Palm Beach through Miami, in the Southeast Florida area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate homeowners on electrical system operation, maintenance, best practices and safety guidelines.
  • Complete electrical service calls in a timely manner, manage work orders, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Stay up to date with national and local code requirements.
  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential properties. Including but not limited to: Circuit wiring installations, electrical panel or service replacements and upgrades, lighting installations, outlet and switch replacement and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • ALWAYS follow safety procedures.
  • Have the appropriate tools and equipment to provide effective and accurate solutions to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years residential service experience.
  • Outstanding customer service, communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and it’s components, including circuits, wiring, and safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High physical stamina for physically demanding tasks.
  • Employees must be able to work flexible hours. Schedules may include occasional on-call, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Posses a willingness to adapt and learn from every job and interaction to better themselves and their careers.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • 10-hour shift
  • Nights as needed
  • Day shift
  • Morning shift
  • $25/hr to start with a compensation of $60-$100k potential. The right attitude and willingness to strive for the best. Earning potential for this role, with the most qualified sales and service candidates exceeding $100,000+. On average, service technicians and installers earn between $60,000-$90,000.
