M and M Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team in Longmont, CO. You will handle service calls, upgrades, and installs including remodels, reporting to our in-house Master Electrician.

This full-time role includes a company vehicle, full benefits, and opportunities for career growth. Field work across residential job sites requires climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Electrician.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits and components.
• Competence in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist with upgrades to electrical systems to enhance efficiency.
• Install electrical components, wiring, circuit breakers and more.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components ensuring safety standards.
• Diagnose electrical issues and determine best solutions.
• Collaborate with other technicians to integrate electrical and mechanical systems.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate with customers to explain issues and options.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team. Are you an electrician who can take on service calls, service upgrades and installs including remodels? Key Responsibilities

• Upgrades: Assisting with upgrades to electrical systems to enhance efficiency.
• Installation: Installing electrical components and systems, wiring, circuit breakers and more.
• Repairs: Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing electrical issues and determining the best solutions to resolve them.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other technicians to ensure proper integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Documentation: Keeping accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide updates on work being performed.
• Continuing Education: Staying current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician.
• Electrical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Technical Proficiency: Competence in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and regulations to ensure safe work environments.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions and specifications in installations and repairs.

Work Environment

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.

Pay Range

$80,000 USD - $120,000 USD
