Job summary

Sunshine Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking a Residential Electrical Service Technician to diagnose and repair residential electrical systems in homes, including panel upgrades, generator and EV charger installations, and energy storage projects.

You will work in a field service capacity, communicating findings to homeowners and ensuring code-compliant, quality installations across the Belleview area and beyond. Monday–Friday schedule with weekly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical service experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential wiring, electrical components, and systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to identify electrical problems and determine repairs.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, safety practices, and proper installation procedures.
• Experience working with low- and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to safely operate electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple service calls efficiently.
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, confined areas, and other residential environments.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving history.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

As a Residential Electrical Service Technician, you'll visit homeowners to diagnose electrical problems, complete repairs and upgrades, and recommend solutions that improve the safety and functionality of their homes.

Your work may include:

• Diagnosing and repairing residential electrical issues
• Electrical panel upgrades and smart panel installations
• Generator installations and service
• Tesla Powerwall and energy storage projects
• EV charger installations
• Surge protection
• Lighting installations, including above- and under-counter lighting
• Hot tub and specialty circuits
• Electrical work related to remodels and additions
• Other residential electrical upgrades and service work

You'll also communicate your findings clearly to homeowners, explain available solutions, document completed work, and ensure every project meets applicable electrical codes and company quality standards.

What You Bring

We're looking for an electrician who can work independently in a residential service environment and is comfortable handling a variety of electrical challenges.

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of residential electrical service experience
