Pay & Schedule

• $19-$27/hour, depending on experience
• Commission opportunities
• $50,000-$75,000 typical annual earning potential
• Overtime available
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Generally starting at 7:30 AM
• Some on‑call rotation

Your Role

You'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and system checks on residential HVAC equipment. You'll work with a variety of makes and models while helping homeowners get the most reliable and efficient performance from their systems.

Responsibilities will include:

• Performing scheduled HVAC maintenance and tune-ups
• Inspecting residential heating and cooling equipment
• Cleaning coils, drains, and system components
• Checking motors, electrical connections, thermostats, and overall system operation
• Checking refrigerant pressures and identifying potential system issues
• Recognizing conditions that may require additional repair or service
• Documenting work performed and maintaining accurate service records
• Explaining maintenance findings and recommendations to homeowners
• Providing professional, courteous customer service
• Maintaining a clean, organized service vehicle
• Keeping tools, equipment, and materials properly maintained
• Following company procedures and all applicable safety standards

What You Need

We're looking for someone who understands residential HVAC fundamentals and can confidently perform maintenance work with limited supervision.

Qualifications:

• Previous hands‑on experience with residential HVAC maintenance
• EPA Universal or Type II certification
• Working knowledge of refrigeration and electrical systems
• HVAC technical school or formal training preferred
• Familiarity with applicable codes and local requirements
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Comfortable operating hand and power tools
• Ability to work safely from an 8-foot step ladder and 12-foot extension ladder
• Comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including Florida heat
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable attendance and work history
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Owns the basic hand tools required for the position
