Job summary

Cooper's Plumbing and Air is seeking a Service Electrician to join our brand-new electrical service department. This is a ground-floor opportunity to be part of a growing team built on quality, safety, and outstanding customer service.

You will perform residential electrical service calls, troubleshoot systems, ensure code compliance, and communicate clearly with customers and the team while representing Cooper's with professionalism on every job site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, service work and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Self-directed, dependable, and takes pride in quality workmanship.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and service management software.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred; Apprentices with solid experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical service calls, repairs and installations
• Troubleshoot residential electrical systems and diagnose issues accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all work meets local code requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Complete service invoices using IPAD and communicate job details clearly to customers and the team
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer’s electrical system, present options professionally, and collect payments.
• Represent Cooper's with professionalism and a customer‑first attitude on every job site
