Job summary

Aptiv Incorporated in Wisconsin is seeking a Residential Service Associate (Direct Support Professional) to provide person-centered support to adults with disabilities in residential homes. This full-time role operates on 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm shifts.

No previous experience is required; paid training is provided, with opportunities for career advancement. You will assist with personal care, meals, medications, housekeeping, transportation, and community activities.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age with HS diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
  • Able to pass required background checks and assist with mobility.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; compassionate and patient.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help prepare meals and encourage healthy living.
  • Support medication administration per policies.
  • Assist with housekeeping and maintain a safe home.
  • Transport individuals to work, appointments, and activities.
  • Encourage independence, document progress, and collaborate with care teams.
