EKG Security, Inc in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Security Officer for a residential gated community. Unarmed position with fixed and roving patrols, 11pm–7am Thursday through Monday.

Pay is $19.00 per hour, with full-time employment and opportunities for training and advancement. Ideal candidates are at least 18, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a valid driver’s license, and can read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Pass any state-required training or licensing for security roles.
• Complete site-specific training before serving as a security officer.
• Driver's license required to operate company or client vehicle.
• Be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to respond on short notice.
• Willingness to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Protect company and client safety policies at all times.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fixed and roving security patrols on foot or vehicle.
• Maintain post responsibilities and logs and prepare incident reports.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Monitor camera systems and alarms as assigned.
• Assist clients, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
