EKG Security, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer for a residential gated community. This unarmed role involves fixed and roving patrols, access control, and incident response during night hours.

The ideal candidate is 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., with a high school diploma, clean driving record, and English reading/writing ability. Training and advancement opportunities, plus benefits, are provided.

Qualifications

• Be able to read and write English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Understand and fulfill obligations and responsibilities of all posts.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Complete site-specific training before serving as a qualified security officer.
• Maintain daily activity reports.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Control access to the client facility.
