Job summary

EKG Security, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a Residential Gated Community in Hampton, GA. The role is full-time with a 32-hour weekly schedule (Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues) from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Wage offered is $18.00 per hour, emphasizing safety and customer service in a community setting. The candidate will patrol designated areas, monitor access, prepare incident reports, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass any State-required training or licensing.
• Complete site-specific training before serving as a security officer.
• Driver's license if driving company or client vehicle.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Access to reliable transportation for short notice response.
• Age 18 or older.
• DD214 discharge document if prior military service, upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Fulfill obligations and responsibilities of all posts.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Complete State-required security officer course within six months of hiring.
• Complete applicable Safety & Environmental Rules training.
• Maintain daily activity reports on paper, computer, smartphone or tablet.
• Monitor for irregular conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police or fire departments when needed.
• Permit authorized persons to enter and monitor entrances/exits.
• Assist customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Complete post order training and familiarization.
