Job summary

Allied Universal® in San Marcos, CA is seeking a Security Officer—Residential, Full Time, Unarmed Driver Patrol. You will serve government locations, conduct patrols, verify access, and report incidents while delivering strong customer service.

In this role you will carry out site-specific procedures, maintain patrol logs, and communicate clearly with clients and responders. A valid driver’s license is required and employment includes training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required; Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred; Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; High school diploma or equivalent; Background check; Drug screen; Licensing requirements as per state/local laws; Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with clear incident reports.
• Maintain patrol logs and daily activity reports and communicate with client representatives and emergency responders.
