Job summary

Global Guardian in McLean, VA seeks a Residential Security Agent to provide static protection and on-site security. The RSA will cover a designated site in McLean and support the security team, with duties including first aid, de-escalation, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security experience, including 2+ years of executive protection.
• Experience conducting protection missions in domestic environments.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferable.
• Basic medical first aid training, CPR/AED preferred.
• DLCP Guard Permit required.
• DLCP Armed Card required.
• DCJS-VA CCW preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary and Objective

The Residential Security Agent will provide a client with static residential protection and physical security. The position will be based in a designated geographic region. This RSA will support the security team's overall client coverage and entail performing protection activities at a designated site located in McLean, VA.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide static protection and other security-related duties for the client at a designated site.
• Effectively manage family members to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first aid operations.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.
• Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.
• Effectively communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.
• Conduct area patrols in and around the site and report suspicious activity.
• Assist with protection schedules and team assignments.
• Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment, including a vehicle.
• Promptly identify and escale deficiencies/failures and security gaps.
• Assist with intelligence and other duties within the Command Post.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Education

• 5+ years of security experience, including 2+ years of executive protection/RST experience.
• Experience conducting protection missions in domestic environments.
• A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree preferable.
• Basic medical first aid training, AED; CPR certification preferred.
• Unarmed license through DCRA/DLCP registered through SOMB (Preferred).
• DLCP Guard Permit (Required).
• DLCP Armed Card(Required).
• DCJS - VA (CCW) (Preferred).

Position Type, Schedule and Salary

• Regular Full-Time (RFT).
• Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am
• 7 days a week availability
• 24/7 availability to the client while on a task.
• Salary: $45.00 - $50.00per hour.
• Located in McLean, VA.
