Job summary

Global Guardian, based in Palo Alto, CA, seeks a Residential Security Agent to provide static protection for a client site and support the security team with coverage.

The role requires 12-hour shifts, possible domestic and international travel, and collaboration with a team lead. Candidates must have 5+ years in security, incl. 2+ years of executive protection; CA BSIS permits and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security experience with at least 2 years in executive protection (RST).
• Experience conducting protection missions in domestic environments.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic medical first aid training, AED; CPR certification preferred.
• Background check and driving history review required.
• California BSIS Security Guard Permit (Required).
• California BSIS Security Exposed Weapons Permit (Required).
• California Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) (Required).

Responsibilities

Position Summary and Objective

TheResidential Security Agentwill provide a client with static residential protection and physical security. The position will be based in a designated geographic region. This RSA will support the security team's overall client coverage and entail performing protection activities at a designated site located in Palo Alto, CA.

*Team Lead has been decided by management.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide static protection and other security-related duties for the client at a designated site.
• Effectively manage family members to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first aid operations.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.
• Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.
• Effectively communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.
• Conduct area patrols in and around the site and report suspicious activity.
• Assist with protection schedules and team assignments.
• Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment, including a vehicle.
• Promptly identify and elevate deficiencies/failures and security gaps.
• Assist with intelligence and other duties within the Command Post.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Education

• 5+ years of security experience, including 2+ years of executive protection/RST experience.
• Experience conducting protection missions in domestic environments.
• A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree preferable.
• Basic medical first aid training, AED; CPR certification preferred.
• Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and a review of driving history for relevant disqualifying convictions.

Position Type, Schedule and Salary

• Regular Full-Time (RFT), non-exempt position. Part-Time (PT) positions available.
• 12-hour shifts.
• 24/7 availability to the client while on a task.
• May require domestic and international travel.
• Salary:
  • Team Lead:$53- $55per hour.
  • Residential Security Agent:$48- $50per hour.
