Job summary
League School for Autism in Walpole, MA, is hiring a School Nurse for the residential program with a year-round Sunday-Thursday schedule. The salary ranges from $89,250 to $94,350 annually for this full-time role.
Required: Bachelor’s in Nursing, MA RN license (DESE School Nurse license a plus), 2+ years nursing including supervision, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include health program oversight, medication administration, and staff training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Valid RN license in MA; DESE School Nurse license a plus.
- Minimum two years nursing experience incl. supervision and staff training.
- CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certifications.
- Valid driver’s license; orientation on school health services.
Responsibilities
- Monitor health and safety of students in both school and residential settings.
- Coordinate health programs per MA guidelines and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare medications and train staff in medication administration.
- Maintain health records and communications with parents/physicians.
- Provide health-related staff training and emergency medical coverage.
