Job summary

Imagine Homes Management in the St. Louis area seeks an RTS Maintenance Technician to support turn and maintenance operations across the portfolio.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of residential systems, primarily self-performing the majority of required work to control costs and ensure quality. Responsibilities include completing work orders, documenting work in Property Meld, and coordinating with the Turns and Service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of hands-on residential maintenance experience.
• Proficiency across multiple trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Ability to diagnose issues and self-perform repairs with minimal vendor reliance.
• Experience independent field work and scheduling across properties.
• Familiarity with Property Meld or Site Capture is a plus.
• Knowledge of EPA and OSHA standards.
• Strong work ethic and ability to complete repairs correctly the first time.
• Professional communication with residents and teams; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete reactive maintenance work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential systems and components.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, drywall, carpentry, flooring, and exterior repairs.
• Support turn operations by performing assigned tasks within scopes of work.
• Conduct move‑in/move‑out inspections and document property condition.
• Perform quality checks on vendor work before sign-off.
• Maintain awareness of property conditions and report safety issues.
• Document all work with photos and notes in Property Meld and Site Capture.
• Maintain fleet vehicle readiness and manage tools/parts inventory.
• Interact professionally with residents and enforce lease terms.
