Job summary

Lakeland Behavioral Health seeks an experienced RN Nurse Manager for the residential RTC unit in Springfield, MO. Lead nursing operations, collaborate with treatment teams, and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Role emphasizes staff leadership, budget awareness, and quality initiatives; a BSN and RN license are preferred and prior house supervisor or administrative RN experience is valued.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher strongly preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of the facility required.
• Three years as a registered nurse strongly preferred.
• Two years of registered nursing experience required.
• Two years of prior RN experience with the facility's patient population preferred.
• One year of prior experience with the population required.
• Prior experience as a house supervisor strongly preferred.
• One year of charge RN or other administrative experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, coordinate, monitor and supervise nursing operations for assigned units.
• Oversee the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams and administration to meet residents' needs and address complaints.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and nursing standards; prioritize patient safety.
• Anticipate census and acuity changes and allocate nursing resources accordingly.
• Recruit, hire and train new staff; develop educational programs.
• Prepare reports on program status and quality initiatives; manage budgets and expenditures.
