Job summary

KC's Improvement & Construction Co., Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Project Manager to shepherd remodeling projects from contract to walkthrough.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, and maintain proactive homeowner communication to maintain trust and ensure high-quality finishes. The role requires 3+ years of residential remodeling PM experience, fluency with project management software, and a strong knowledge of NC codes, permitting, and inspection processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential remodeling project management experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of NC residential building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Own project execution from pre-construction handoff through punch list and closeout.
• Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractor partners across trades.
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and selections in JobTread.
• Communicate proactively with homeowners and set expectations.
• Conduct site visits and quality inspections throughout active projects.
• Collaborate with estimating and office teams to keep budgets & documents current.
• Protect the client experience in occupied homes with clean sites and clear communication.
