What You'll Do

As a Residential Remodeling Lead Carpenter, you'll oversee residential remodeling and renovation projects from start to finish while performing skilled carpentry work and ensuring every project meets the company's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You'll coordinate daily jobsite activities, organize materials, manage workflow, and maintain project schedules while serving as the primary on-site leader.

Your work will include framing, finish carpentry, trim installation, drywall repair, structural repairs, custom carpentry, and a variety of residential remodeling tasks. You'll interpret construction drawings and project specifications, coordinate with project managers and other trades, monitor workmanship throughout the project, and maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites. You'll also communicate directly with homeowners, provide project updates, answer questions, and ensure customers have an exceptional experience from the beginning of the project through final completion.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced carpenter with at least five years of residential construction or remodeling experience and a strong understanding of residential building practices. Candidates should have experience leading projects, coordinating jobsite activities, and performing a wide range of carpentry work including framing, finish carpentry, trim installation, drywall repair, and structural modifications.

Experience working on custom homes or high-end residential remodeling projects is highly preferred. Successful candidates will have the ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications while maintaining a thorough understanding of building codes, construction methods, and jobsite safety practices.

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of leading projects independently while maintaining excellent communication with homeowners, project managers, and fellow team members. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds while working with power tools, saws, and other carpentry equipment.
