You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day project activities, maintaining quality standards, managing materials and subcontractors, and making sure projects stay on schedule and within budget.This role also requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to use digital tools and construction management software such as Bluebeam for project documentation and communication.What You'll DoAs a Working Foreman, your responsibilities will include:Lead and execute residential remodeling projects, including framing, drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, and finish workOperate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectivelyRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawingsPerform ongoing construction inspections and quality-control checks throughout each stage of a projectSupervise construction site activities and coordinate daily work with crew members and subcontractorsKeep jobsites clean, organized, safe, and productiveSchedule work, order materials, coordinate subcontractors, and help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budgetInstall or oversee the installation of plumbing, electrical systems, glass, doors, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, and other specialized componentsUse construction management software, including Bluebeam, for project documentation and communicationPerform or oversee a variety of construction tasks, including:Concrete forming and finishingRestoration workRoofing repairsCaulking and plasteringFabricationMasonryFlooring and tile installationWeldingHardscape improvementsMaintain high standards of workmanship while ensuring projects meet applicable safety requirements and client expectationsWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:At least 6 years of verified residential remodeling experience, with referencesJourneyman-level expertise in at least one tradeProven experience running a working crew and overseeing residential construction projectsExperience scheduling crews, ordering materials, managing subcontractors, and completing inspectionsStrong knowledge of construction codes and compliance requirementsExperience with light framing, electrical work, doors and windows, and other general remodeling tasksStrong computer skills and familiarity with scheduling and estimating softwareThe ability to read and understand construction plans and drawingsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with crew members, subcontractors, and clientsA reliable truck with valid insurance and the necessary tools for the jobResidence within 30 minutes of the City of Orange, as occasional on-site presence may be requiredWhat We Offer$30–$40 per hour, depending on experiencePaid holidaysOne week of paid vacation after one year of employmentLong-term employment opportunityHow to ApplySerious applicants only.
