Anderson Remodeling is seeking a dependable Construction Estimator for residential remodeling projects, operating in both the field and office. This role involves meeting customers at homes, taking measurements, and developing estimates and proposals for projects of light residential construction.

Candidates should understand framing, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and basic plumbing/electrical, with strong math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Construction knowledge is required with understanding of residential remodeling and light construction.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers at homes and project locations to review proposed work.
• Take accurate measurements, photos, notes, and project information.
• Evaluate labor, materials, and construction processes needed for each project.
• Assist with preparing estimates and proposals.
• Identify potential construction concerns before work begins.
• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, office staff, and management.
• Use an iPad and computer to document project information and complete estimating tasks.
• Maintain organized and accurate project records.
• Follow company estimating procedures.
• Work under supervision during training and independently once training is completed.
