• Complete carpentry and installation tasks on kitchen, bathroom, and basement remodels.
• Install baseboards, door trim, and other interior finish components.
• Install cabinets and doors with attention to fit, alignment, and appearance.
• Perform home repairs and assigned remodeling tasks.
• Prepare work areas and follow the correct sequence before closing walls or completing finishes.
• Coordinate with coworkers and the project manager to keep work moving smoothly.
• Assist with additions and transitions between existing and new construction when assigned.
• Contribute to tile, drywall, or painting work according to your experience and assigned responsibilities.
• Check completed work and maintain a clean, safe, respectful environment in clients' homes.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Remodeling Carpenter to contribute to kitchen, bathroom, and basement projects. Your core strengths should include residential remodeling, baseboards, trim, and related installations.

You don't need to be an expert in every trade. Drywall, tile, painting, and addition experience are helpful, but the owner places strong value on sound construction judgment, dependability, willingness to learn, and pride in the work. You'll collaborate with the project manager and field team, take responsibility for assigned tasks, and communicate clearly when a project needs a different approach.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in residential remodeling carpentry.
• Experience with kitchen, bathroom, or basement renovations and interior trim work.
• Practical understanding of construction methods and task sequencing.
• Ability to complete assigned work independently and contribute as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to project sites and dependable attendance.
• Attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, and willingness to accept constructive feedback.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks involved in hands-on remodeling work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tile installation and shower-waterproofing experience.
• Drywall installation or finishing skills.
• Painting experience, or willingness to learn.
• Experience with additions and connecting new work to existing structures.
• Familiarity with basic plumbing and electrical work.

Pay and Benefits

• Employment: Full-time, in person.
• Pay: $26 - $27 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm with occasional overtime when needed.
• Paid Holidays
• PTO up to 3 weeks per year withone Friday off per quarter as a mental health day.
• Work takes place at local residential project sites.
