Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health in Warwick, RI seeks a Residential Relief Worker to provide direct service and supervise daily living skills of residents in a group home for adults with long-term mental illness.

You will supervise residents, educate in living and social skills, coordinate medical and psychiatric services, monitor medications, complete client records, and participate in safety and training activities.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Service field or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, special education or related human services preferred.
• Experience in the Human Service field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.
• Provide intensive education, training and modeling in basic living skills and social skills including budgeting and prioritizing needs.
• Coordinate and monitor medical, dental and psychiatric services.
• Supervise medication compliance.
• Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, and clinical documentation in line with Thrive standards and regulations.
• Provide crisis intervention and basic behavioral program implementation.
• Transport clients.
• Review email daily for new messages.
