Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist for an on-site, full-time role in Belcamp, MD. The position offers overnight scheduling (11pm–8am) within a residential rehabilitation program, with duties focused on safe and therapeutic client care, skill-building, and medication safety.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with serious mental illness in housing and community reintegration, including advocacy and treatment coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• A driver’s license with access to insured vehicle may be required.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications and trainings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one residential counseling to help clients develop independent living skills.
• Monitor medication safety, dosage, and cleanliness as part of daily care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individual service plans.
• Arrange transportation and accompany clients to medical appointments; document follow-up actions.
