Job summary

Key Point Health Services Inc. in Dundalk, MD is hiring a Residential Counselor. The role supports adults through on-site and off-site programs, performs assessments, case management, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, advocacy, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a social service and no experience required or year to year experience in lieu of education.
• Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence) (must be active for at least 3 years)
• Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Someone who has a passion for working with individuals with a mental illness or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs.
• This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
• Staff are also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes.
• Responsible for medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
• Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
• Must drive 15 passenger vans to transport clients.
