Job summary

Aspire Indiana Health, Inc. is hiring a Residential Recovery Technician to provide substance use and behavioral health services in a residential setting, helping clients reach their goals in a recovery-focused program.

You will use a strength-based approach, link clients with recovery supports, and help develop relapse recovery plans to reduce substance use. Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalent with 1 year related experience preferred or 2 years SUD experience; knowledge of addiction; MI and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent; 1 year related experience preferred or 2 years SUD experience required.
• Knowledge in addiction and how addiction impacts an individual and their family highly preferred.
• Work experience in a health care setting, preferably Addiction Treatment or Mental Health, a plus.
• Trained in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance use/behavioral health services to clients and families in a residential setting to achieve goals.
• Develop relapse recovery plans and connect clients with recovery community supports and resources.
• Support client in developing skills to decrease and/or eliminate substance use.

Education

High School Diploma/Equivalent

1 year related experience preferred

2 years of substance use disorder experience required

Knowledge in addiction and impact on family

Trained in Motivational Interviewing

Trauma Informed Care

Certification as Peer Addiction Recovery Coach
