Job summary

Mental Health Connecticut, Inc. is seeking a Residential Specialist II in Stamford to document and deliver recovery services, including Medicaid reimbursable services, per Individual Recovery Plans.

The role involves collaboration with therapists and community partners to support individuals in recovery. Starting salary is $20.60 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental, vision, life and LTD, EAP, a 403(b) plan with company match, and generous paid time off and

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 2 years of related experience or degree in related field.
• Knowledge of basic counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with persons in recovery to assure participation in programs and activities.
• Act as a liaison and collaborate with the individuals' therapists, referral sources, and community agencies.
• Implement, design, deliver, and document Individualized Recovery Plans (IRP's) to adults in recovery.
• Identify and refer individuals to appropriate community supports and resources.
• Provide community-based or program site coverage when necessary.
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining entitlements for individuals in recovery.
• Willing and able to drive a personal vehicle locally and within the state.
