Job summary

Union Community Care in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Residential Aide to support clients in our Adult Rehabilitation Program. This essential role requires working on-site during all shifts and contributing to a safe, structured environment.

You'll deliver daily activities, monitor client safety, document in the EMR, and collaborate with counselors to support recovery. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; a GED and valid PA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years related experience and/or training in drug & alcohol treatment preferred.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license with a clean driver history in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medications to clients for self-administration and document medication activity in the EMR.
• Ensure client safety and evacuation during fire drills and emergencies.
• Assist clients with on-site laundry services on designated days.
• Perform nightly security and bed checks on all floors.
• Transport clients to health service providers and activities in a company vehicle.
• Observe and document changes in clients’ behavior and report to supervisors.
