Job summary

UPMC is hiring full-time Residential Aides to support Western Behavioral Health at Twin Lakes in Somerset, PA. The Residential Aide provides clinical treatment services to residents in the Twin Lakes Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program. This program serves adults 18+ with substance use or dual disorders.

Shifts include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be team-oriented, with knowledge of addiction and recovery, and a commitment to confidentiality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of addiction and recovery preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide self-help skills training and recovery group activities.
• Maintain safety and security of the unit and monitor for crises.
• Transport residents to off-unit activities.
• Collaborate with treatment team and document care daily.
