ICF International in Newark, NJ is seeking a QA/QC Inspection Specialist to coordinate quality assurance activities for residential energy efficiency projects. You will perform installation inspections, energy savings calculations, and support QA investigations with local contractors.

Responsibilities include field inspections across New Jersey, reporting, and maintaining QA records using Sightline, while traveling up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Energy, Environmental, Building Sciences or related discipline (or substitute 1 year of related experience for 1 year of education)
• 5+ years professional experience in utility, energy efficiency, HVAC, weatherization and/or related experience
• Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check, background check and drug screening

Responsabilités

• Performing installation inspections and energy savings calculations, HVAC system assessment, operations, and maintenance
• Interacting with home owners, contractors, builders, raters, representatives, and other key stakeholders
• Coordination of Quality Assurance activities such as completing inspection reports, coordinating with utility QA/QC teams, and facilitating communication with contractors
• Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are up to 80% of the time throughout New Jersey in order to perform field inspections (reimbursement for mileage provided)
