Job summary

ICF is seeking a QA/QC Inspection Specialist for its residential energy efficiency teams in Newark, NJ. You will coordinate QA activities, conduct inspections, and assist with QA plans and procedures, including non-conforming investigations and corrective actions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2+ years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license with willingness to travel up to 80% within New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Environmental, Building Sciences or related discipline (or substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
• 2+ years of professional experience in utility, energy efficiency, HVAC, weatherization and/or related fields
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR/background/drug screening

Responsibilities

• Performing installation inspections and energy savings calculations, HVAC system assessment, operations, and maintenance
• Interacting with homeowners, contractors, builders, raters, and other stakeholders
• Coordination of QA activities such as inspection reports and communications with contractors
