UCP Heartland is seeking a PART-TIME RESIDENTIAL DSP (Direct Support Professional) based in Crestwood, MO. The role offers $21.00 per hour and a schedule including Wednesday nights and Saturday shifts, totaling 18 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will provide daily living support, assist with daily tasks and personal care, and help guide clients in activities and community outings. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum one weekend shift per weekend.
• Experience with disabilities or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication; computer proficiency.

Current Available Schedule

• CRESTWOOD
• WEDNESDAY 9PM - 9AM
• SATURDAY 9AM-3PM
• 18 Hours Weekly (RB/E)

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
• Experience with Prader Willi Syndrome a plus

Minimum Employment Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer Proficiency

THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!
