Job summary

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate Residential DSPs (Direct Care Professionals) for shifts in Overland, Missouri. The role offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and involves supporting individuals with disabilities through daily tasks, personal care, and community activities.

Shifts include Thursday 3PM-8PM, Friday 3PM-11PM, and Sunday 9AM-3PM (HE/E). A mandatory training week at the corporate office is required, payable, Mon-Fri 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM.

Qualifications

Current Available Schedule

OVERLAND

THURSDAY 3PM-8PM (HE/E)

FRIDAY 3PM-11PM (HE/E)

SUNDAY 9AM-3PM (HE/E)

(19 Hours Weekly)

As a DSP (Direct Care Provider)you will perform the following responsibilities:

Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.

Follow medical orders and administer medications.

Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.

Minimum Employment Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer Proficiency
