Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as a mental health or behavioral assistant preferred.
• Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic environment and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Basic skills in cleaning, cooking, and meal preparation are expected.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic clinic documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in social, clinical, nutritional, and observational activities.
• Support residential addiction programs and psychiatry/psychology-based services.
• Promote safety and engagement in milieu and therapy activities.
• Follow directions from registered nurses and participate in treatment planning and escalation of concerns.
• Maintain patient-centered care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
