Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Psychiatric Technician to support residential addiction programs within Psychiatry. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient care, lead social activities, and help implement individualized care plans.

Under RN direction, you will assist adults and/or children, promote safety, document care, and participate in treatment activities. A high school diploma and BLS are required or provided during orientation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in psychiatric settings preferred.
• Basic training in safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support residential addiction programs within Psychiatry.
• Assist in direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Lead social activities and milieu engagement to aid therapy concepts.
