Job summary

Rose Associates Inc. is seeking a motivated Residential Property Porter to support residents and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment on-site in New York City.

You will perform daily cleaning, grounds maintenance, and basic repairs, assist with turn-overs, and help front desk staff while providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors. A flexible schedule and compliance with safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping and maintenance equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property’s aesthetic appeal and perform routine tasks daily/weekly/monthly.
• Assist in snow/ice removal and set out rain mats for safe pathways.
• Collect and dispose of trash and ensure recycling procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff for minor repairs and upkeep.
• Clean vacant units to prepare for turns and assist front desk as needed.
• Provide excellent resident service and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Adhere to workplace safety and OSHA regulations.
