Indigo Living is seeking a Residential Property Manager for Washington Apartments. The role focuses on team leadership, leasing oversight, and upkeep coordination. You will drive resident satisfaction and operational efficiency in a multifamily community.

The position requires supervisory experience, a business-related associate degree, and strong communication across channels. Flexible scheduling and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• You are a natural communicator across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, social).
• You are curious, driven, and ask root questions then follow up with more questions.
• You are flexible; willing to learn and adapt; availability for a flexible work week including some weekend coverage.
• You need to have at least two years' experience in a supervisory capacity managing multifamily communities; associate degree in business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Promote Leasing Consultant to Assistant Manager after coaching and closing skill gaps
• Review leasing reports to ensure the team converts prospects to residents
• Deescalate resident issues to achieve positive Google reviews
• Reprioritize maintenance day after a water leak
• Collaborate with maintenance to reduce supplies expenses
• Brainstorm with marketing on community ideas, e.g., TikTok day-in-the-life

What You’ll Do

A typical Residential Property Manager’s day might include:

• Recommending a Leasing Consultant is promoted to an Assistant Manager after several months of coaching and closing any skill gaps
• Reviewing a leasing report assuring the team is making every effort to convert prospects to future residents
• Deescalating a tricky situation with a resident resulting in a 5-star Google review
• Reprioritizing the maintenance teams' day after a water leak was discovered
• Collaborating with the maintenance team on ways to reduce supplies expenses
• Brainstorming with the marketing team on fresh community marketing ideas. Such as showcasing “a day in the life” on TikTok.

What You Need to Get the Job Done
