Job summary

C+C Apartment Management LLC in the New York Tri-state area seeks a maintenance supervisor to oversee plumbing, electrical, grounds, and apartment turnover while coordinating staff and managing maintenance requests.

You will ensure safety, maintain tools and vehicles, and work with the Property Manager to keep units and common areas in good condition. High school diploma preferred; 2-3 years experience ideal.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in all building repair trades
• Purchasing procedures and practices
• Work safety requirements and repair procedures
• Ability to use hand tools normally used in construction, maintenance and landscaping
• Ability to use power tools (as listed)
• Able to keep accurate records
• Basic janitorial procedures
• Ability to interact with residents and handle complaints

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of plumbing, electrical, grounds, and apartment turnover
• Coordinate staff efforts
• Communicate status of make-ready units
• Notify manager if service requests cannot be completed
• Punch out of vacant units
• Maintain workshop and storage areas
• Keep company tools, equipment and vehicles in good order
• Purchase inventory within budget with the manager
• Institute preventive maintenance schedule
• Ensure physical maintenance of vacant units and common areas
• Maintain professional attitude with residents and coworkers
• Assist with apartment inspections
• Read and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform general building repairs
• Other duties as assigned
