Job summary

Decron Properties Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance at apartment communities. You will supervise staff, coordinate requests, and ensure safety and preventive programs are followed to maintain property quality and resident satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and strong leadership to coach team members and manage vendors effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in residential property management or related field.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Proficient with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and support maintenance staff and porters.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, work orders, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance and safety issues.
• Train, coach, and evaluate maintenance technicians and porters.
• Collaborate with community managers and leasing teams to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and inventory controls.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Assist in budgeting and cost management for maintenance operations.
