Job summary

CrimsonBlu is seeking a Residential Property Inspector for Outer Banks, NC. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible hours and your own schedule. You travel to properties to perform exterior inspections and occasional interior checks, capturing photos and data via our mobile app.

You control your own route, work with multiple clients, and are paid per inspection on a monthly basis. You need to be outdoorsy, detail-oriented, and capable of communicating clearly with homeowners.

CrimsonBlu is looking for motivated, detail-oriented business owners/independent contractors in Outer Banks, NC to complete residential property inspections. If you like being outdoors, working independently, and controlling your own schedule — this is a great way to build a business around your life, not the other way around.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. You control how and when you complete accepted jobs, you're free to work with other companies at the same time, and you're responsible for your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.

The Gig

• Traveling to properties to complete exterior (and occasional interior) underwriting inspections you've accepted


• A brief, professional conversation with homeowners explaining the inspection


• Capturing the required photos and data through our mobile web application


• Using a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs


• Scheduling your own appointments for interior/high-value inspections


• Delivering accurate, on-time, professional service with clear communication
