Job summary

CrimsonBlu Residential Property Inspector in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks motivated independent contractors to complete exterior (and occasional interior) underwriting inspections. You control your schedule, travel to properties, and communicate with homeowners using our mobile app.

This is a 1099 role paid per completed inspection with the option to build your own route and work with other clients. Availability is daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, with payments made monthly for inspections

• Traveling to properties to complete exterior (and occasional interior) underwriting inspections you've accepted
• A brief, professional conversation with homeowners explaining the inspection
• Capturing the required photos and data through our mobile web application
• Using a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs
• Scheduling your own appointments for interior/high-value inspections

Residential Property Inspector – Cedar Rapids, IA – 1099 Independent Contractor

CrimsonBlu is looking for motivated, detail-oriented business owners/independent contractors in Cedar Rapids, IA to complete residential property inspections. If you like being outdoors, working independently, and controlling your own schedule — this is a great way to build a business around your life, not the other way around.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. You control how and when you complete accepted jobs, you're free to work with other companies at the same time, and you're responsible for your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.

• Service fee structure: Paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis
• Time estimates: 1 working day(s) per week / 4 days per month

• Availability: Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday (holidays excluded), based on customer expectations — you decide which days and how many you take on.
