Job description

Pragma Homes are seeking a Residential Project Manager to join the team located in our Hamilton office. This permanent position involves project management of the building of our residential homes, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, quality, and adherence to build specifications.

The successful candidate will work alongside a team of friendly, like-minded individuals in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Be the primary point of contact for trades and suppliers during construction.
2. Ensure the home is started and completed on time.
3. Ensure the home is completed to specification and to the expected high quality of workmanship.
4. Manage all sub-contractors to ensure adherence to the build programme and quality standards.
5. Comply with the Health and Safety Policy Statement and OHS Management System at all times.
6. Develop and ensure Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) are in place before work commences on site.

The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience:

1. Experience with services, drainage, foundation, and construction.
2. Licensed Building Practitioner Site 1 and Carpentry accreditation are desirable.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
4. Intermediate skills in MS Office tools, including MS Project.
5. Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in construction.
6. Knowledge of residential practices and Council compliance regulations/requirements.
7. Understanding of current building product ranges.

Full-time position

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (including work vehicle & mobile phone)

Working hours: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday
