Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field; two years post-master’s experience in a behavioral health setting

Responsibilities

• Functions in accordance with the policies of People’s Health Centers, state and federal regulation, and within his/her professional code of ethics.
• Assist with coordination of residential screening, selections and program admissions and various aspects of facility and program operations.
• Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings and all required meetings.
• Assist with coordinating direct care worker schedules.
• Track resident health screens, TB test, staff training, and other compliance related tracking.
• Provide a supportive residential treatment environment that promotes learning, developing, and practicing living skills to improve community living.
• Provide individual, group, family and/or other practical supports and interventions to meet client needs and treatment goals.
• Participate in emergency services to provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis.
• Provide and/or coordinate comprehensive follow-up to all clients under supervision.
• Participate in staff development activities and center-wide quality improvement.
• Contribute to management needs such as data collection, program evaluation, development of resources, and maintenance for services.
• Maintain needed house and residential supplies.
• Participate in evaluation of self and assigned staff according to Center policies.
• Be available as back-up to facility-based staff and assist in crisis intervention during business hours and on-call basis.

Education
