Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its residential programs across Central Massachusetts and the greater Boston area. The role focuses on medical oversight, patient education, and long-term support in a non-office setting.

You will train staff on medical issues, review records for appropriate care, and supervise the Medication Administration Program. A Massachusetts RN license and driver’s license are required; experience with adults with disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Experience with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and verbal communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and consultation to programs regarding medical issues, procedures and health practices.
• Assess and educate on health and disease processes; reinforce wellness and preventative care.
• Review clinical records to ensure services and interventions are up to date; monitor medical interventions and tests as needed.
• Provide oversight to the Medication Administration Program and ensure regulatory compliance.
