Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Amarillo, TX is seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager to lead a team delivering person-centered services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This on-call role drives day-to-day operations, staff coordination, and program quality. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree preferred, at least two years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Employment is contingent upon successful background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Manage team performance through communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and recognition.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed.
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management and meal planning.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns.
• Manage relationships with families and guardians.
• Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean and stocked with supplies.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
