Job summary

The Arc of Centre County seeks a Residential Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a community home serving individuals with intellectual disabilities in Bellefonte, PA. You will lead direct care staff, ensure ISP implementation, and maintain compliance with licensing and safety standards.

The role includes split duties of 32 hours direct care and 8 hours admin, with on-call rotation and opportunities for NADSP credentialing; benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and retirement

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 30 credits hours plus experience with developmental disabilities OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 6 months of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass required physical and TB screening.
• Able to assist with lifting, bending, standing and transferring as needed.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care staff (scheduling, training, performance management, etc).
• Ensure care plans and ISPs are implemented and updated.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing, agency policies, and health/safety standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency response when needed.
• Coordinate with families, case managers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor household budgets, inventories, and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all residents and staff activities.
• Foster a supportive and respectful home environment for residents.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
