Job summary

Compcare seeks a dedicated group home supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and adequate living environment for consumers. You will supervise direct care staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support case management under the approved service plans.

The role requires supervisory experience (preferred), a valid driver’s license, and relevant education (BSW/BA/AA) with related mental health experience, based in Morris Plains, NJ.

Qualifications

• BSW in social work, BS/BA in psychology, or a related field
• BA in unrelated field with two years of previous experience
• AA with two years of experience in mental health/human services
• One-year experience working in a residential mental health setting required
• Relevant supervisory experience preferred
• Valid Driver's license

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily functions of the group home by ensuring consumers are provided a safe, clean, and adequate living environment
• Provides assigned direct care staff with continuous supervision and completes staff performance evaluations
• Ensures the implementation of service plan goals and interventions and provides case management services
• Manages the monthly program schedule to meet all coverage needs for assigned group home
• Participates in the development of all consumer related activities

Education
