Job summary

Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC), Inc. in Dix Hills, NY is hiring an Assistant Manager for an OPWDD-funded Residential Program. This essential role oversees general operations, maintains a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment, and guides staff in helping residents achieve independence and personal goals.

The salary range is $41,000-$45,000 annually. The job includes supervising direct care professionals, ensuring program goals, coordinating with nurses, and engaging with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ experience driving a large passenger vehicle.
• 1–2 years’ experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Residential Operations and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Supervise DSP staff and manage scheduling to support residences.
• Maintain medication records and coordinate with Nurse.
• Collaborate with community, manage household items and meals.
• Ensure program goals are implemented by Residential staff.
