Job summary

League School for Autism in Walpole, MA, is seeking an Assistant Residential Manager for its residential program. The role pays $26.00–$27.50 per hour and requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years in a related residential setting, plus CPR/First Aid and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations in the absence of the Assistant Residential Director, supervising front-line staff, and ensuring accurate documentation and medication handling. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or 3–5 years of experience working in a residential program for children with special needs.
• Experience supervising staff preferred.
• Safety Care, CPR and First Aid certifications (training will be provided).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass CORI background check.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Assistant Residential Director, manage daily operation of the residence.
• Approve emergencies, student behavior decisions, staff assignments, and activity schedules.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner (phone logs, behavior charts).
• Ensure medication administration is completed and documented.
