Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services is seeking a full-time Program Specialist for the Specialized Residential Program. The role oversees program development, delivery of services, and staffing coordination, reporting to the Director of Specialty Supports.

A sign-on bonus is available for new hires. The ideal candidate has advanced degrees with experience in disabilities/dual diagnosis and meets the required training certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with 1 year experience working directly with individuals with disabilities/dual diagnosis.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience working directly with individuals with disabilities/dual diagnosis.
• Completion of the Department of Public Welfare “Train the Trainer” program and become a certified Medication Administration trainer for staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responsibilities of the Teacher Counselors and supervise staff.
• Meet regularly with staff to review program, training needs, and progress.
• On-call for emergencies and provide residential coverage as needed.
• Schedule staff for the site and assist with interviewing and training.

Skills

PA Driver's License

Disability support experience

Education

Master's degree or higher with relevant experience

Bachelor's degree with 2 years disability/dual diagnosis experience

Train the Trainer program certification (DPW)
